What it is

An audit of the blind spots in your kitchen operation.

  • Compliance gaps around allergens, textures & dietary records Compliance
  • Whether temperature holds from the kitchen to the table Service
  • Labour & management hours the kitchen absorbs but never carries Costs
  • Storage, labelling & expiry practice, plus untracked losses Inventory
  • Whether your layout & equipment limit what the kitchen can produce Kitchen space
  • Quality & consistency issues residents notice before you do Food quality

How it works

Four steps, one visit.

Half a day on site, a written report a short time later.

Our specialists spend half a day on site, joining a full service alongside your team, walking the storage and dining areas together, and listening to the people who run it every day.

  2. Analysis of the findings

We examine supplier relationships, procurement, menu construction, meal service and compliance routines against more than 100 checkpoints, and check what we see against what your team knows.

  3. A written report, shared and discussed together

You get every finding in writing, what each one is costing you, and where the opportunities sit. Yours to keep either way.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What happens in your kitchen before and after the assessment.

See all questions

Do I need to completely remodel my kitchen?

No. Our engineering team reviews your kitchen layout using your existing CAD plans and proposes the most cost-effective solution to update it. In many cases the only changes are minor plumbing and electrical updates to add our unit and accommodate new station locations. For a new build, we can provide recommended layouts for the most optimal workflows.

Do I keep my kitchen appliances?

We use your oven, tilting skillets, and stovetops for manual cooking activities and for contingency. In some cases we may propose removing certain appliances to save on space and power.

Who cleans and maintains the robotic unit?

Chef Jasper is responsible for maintaining and cleaning all supplied equipment and workspaces. We meet or exceed current sanitation and cleaning regulations, with documented procedures covering frequency, products, method, and task owner.

What if Chef Jasper runs into an issue, are we dependent on a single vendor for something this critical?

We build contingency planning in from day one, including a direct line to our culinary team and backup processes if any part of the system runs into an issue. Because the model requires minimal upfront capital, you also are not locked into sunk costs, and the downside risk is far smaller than a major kitchen renovation or a long-term staffing commitment.

What does getting started actually look like?

It starts with a free assessment of your current kitchen operation: residents, budget, staffing, the works. We use it to see if we are a good fit, and it often surfaces blind spots you did not know you had, from hidden drivers of food cost to compliance gaps. From there we scope the setup, agree on service levels and timelines, and plan a progressive transition that keeps your kitchen running without interruption.
